Likha Diwa sa Gulod, Quezon City

I've been going to Likha Diwa sa Gulod for a few years now, usually with my friend Yvette. The place is pescetarian and vegetarian-friendly, so I like going there knowing there are many things I could have from the menu. The place is frequented by people who work in NGOs, as well as students and faculty from nearby UP Diliman.

Yvette and I used to work in an NGO along Katipunan, which is probably when we got to hear of the place. She now works with the UN (specifically, in Lebanon), and I work in media, but we still both like going to the place when we do get together. We see familiar faces in Likha Diwa, people we used to work with in the past.

A few years ago, we would go there often after an afternoon of wall-climbing in PowerUp Tandang Sora. The restaurant is quite near the climbing gym, and having the choco-banana dessert at Likha Diwa was always a good way to reward ourselves after a particularly gruelling workout.

During our most recent visit to the restaurant, I had some salted egg salad, and daing na bangus which also came with salted egg. That was not really the most healthful of choices, but again, I don't go there necessarily to eat healthfully. I like salted egg, and I felt like having a lot of it that evening.

There are actually a lot of healthy choices on the menu of Likha Diwa. However, I sometimes choose not have these. I just go there usually to have the choco banana dessert. Everything else is considered a prelude to the main event.

I am a fan of Likha Diwa. I love their vegetarian bagoong and gluten dishes.

Reasonably-priced too.

I know this is an old post, but it caught my eye as I was searching for restaurants around UP Diliman being sick of the usual Casaa. :P By the way, you mentioned wall-climbing in Power Up Gym, mind giving me details on that? I'm also interested haha.

Hi Cza! Thanks for visiting my blog. Power Up Climbing Gym is in Tandang Sora. Coming from UP heading toward Commonwealth, you turn left on the last corner before hitting Commonwealth. It will be on your left. It's right across a tricycle terminal. Are you from UP? UP has a climbing org that's pretty active called UP GRIP. Anyway, I hope you try climbing. It's great fun.
